MINIMATOR ## Compaction technology developed around your system Nordic Recycling Systems introduces a new generation of compact, high-capacity compaction technology developed specifically for integration into reverse vending machines, collection systems and automated beverage-container handling solutions. The MINIMATOR platform is designed around a simple principle: **reduce volume as early as possible while giving system manufacturers maximum flexibility.** Capable of processing PET bottles, aluminium cans and other beverage containers, the technology combines efficient volume reduction with a highly configurable mechanical architecture. MINIMATOR is not designed as a fixed standalone machine. One of the key configuration options is a **split-shaft design**, allowing PET bottles and aluminium cans to be processed separately within the same compaction unit. Two separated processing zones. THE PRINCIPLE ## Less air. Less volume. More efficient logistics. Empty beverage containers consist largely of air. Returned containers may also need to be physically altered after successful redemption. MINIMATOR deforms and can perforate containers during the compaction process, helping prevent the original container from being presented again. OPTIONAL BYPASS · OPERATIONAL CONTINUITY ## Keep the process running when compaction stops. For customers who require additional operational resilience, MINIMATOR can be supplied with an optional bypass solution. If the compaction unit stops due to a fault or is taken out of service, containers can be routed around MINIMATOR so the rest of the handling process can continue without compaction. Bypass operation and activation are defined as part of the surrounding system integration.
