Partnering with Infinitum—a global leader in efficient recycling—has allowed us to push the boundaries of sustainable infrastructure. This facility is more than just a technical installation; it represents a shared commitment to environmental stewardship in a unique and challenging climate. By bringing advanced sorting technology to the High North, we are ensuring that even the most remote regions are integrated into a world-class circular economy.
Working alongside the experts at Infinitum has been a rewarding journey, and we are honored to contribute to a project that sets a new geographic and operational benchmark for the industry.
We’ve reached a new geographic milestone! This is potentially the northernmost Deposit Return Scheme (DRS) facility in the world, proving that the circular economy knows no borders.
Closing the Loop in Northern Norway Operating a DRS system in the northernmost parts of Norway comes with its own set of challenges. However, through innovation and partnership, we have developed a facility that efficiently handles beverage containers in the region. This strengthens the national recycling network and significantly reduces the environmental footprint of the local beverage industry.
